Carl studied accordion with Eric Olzen in New York from age 9-16, then moved on to piano exploration.
Carl has performed with numerous bands in New England such as Crosswinds Jazz Quintet (Prescott Park, Ceres St. Fair): The Beach Cowboys (Market Square Day); The Busters (Cocheco Arts Festival); The Fabulous Spellbounds Reunion Band (Portsmouth Blues Festival); The Jennifer Thayer Project.
Currently Carl is performing with La Madeleine, Chronic Jazz Syndrome, and The New Legacy Swing Band.
